Beginning July 1, 2009, local and national membership in NAPNAP will be combined. You will pay one set of dues which will allow you to be a member of our local chapter as well as the national organization.  There will not be an option to be a chapter-only member, but now you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the services offered by our national organization as well as our local chapter. 

Members will receive the Journal of Pediatric Health Care and the Ready, Set, Grow parent education digest. You will have access to the members-only section of www.napnap.org, where expanded PNP e-news about clinical and organization information is located. Online learning through PNP SourCE will be accessible. National NAPNAP anticipates that by unifying local chapters with the national organization, we will have a stronger voice for advocating children’s health at the state and national levels.

New structure of dues, effective 7/1/09, is as follows:

$165 for active and associate membership ($30 of which will be transmitted to the chapter you select when you sign-up or renew)

$85 for students ($15 of which will be transmitted to your selected chapter)

$65 for retirees’ dues ($10 of which will be transmitted to your selected chapter)

If you renewed your national membership already this year, you do NOT have to pay $165 on 7/1/09 when the new pricing takes effect. For example, if you paid dues in February 2009, your next renewal date is February 2010. (FYI: National does plan to invoice members who renewed between 1/09 and 6/31/09 for the chapter’s portion of the dues - $30. This will take place after July).
